How is Indian retail Gold spot calculated?
Indian retail rates are derived from global COMEX spot rates. We convert troy ounces to grams using the live USD/INR exchange rate, then apply the official 15% Indian Custom/Import Duties & AIDC, along with the local 3% GST. This forms the standard domestic benchmark price.
What is the difference between 24K, 22K and 18K?
24 Carat Gold is 99.9% pure, mostly used for gold coins or physical bullion investment bars. 22 Carat Gold is 91.6% pure, alloyed with silver/copper to enhance structural durability for bridal jewellery. 18 Carat Gold is 75% pure, ideal for diamond-studded rings, watches, and intricate artisan designs.
What factors drive global silver pricing?
Silver behaves both as a monetary safe haven and an industrial commodity. It is highly sensitive to solar panel manufacturing, semiconductors, global EV production, USD index moves, and institutional arbitrage on COMEX and MCX.
